Check In

Bunk is reserved for genuine backpacker travellers. Check in is any time after 1pm. All guests are required to provide a current passport along with a credit card in the same name at check in to all room types.. Your nightly rate covers a stay from 13:00-10:00 the following day not a 24 hour period.

Check Out Times

Check out time is strictly 10am.  Late fees may apply after this time. Dorm sheets are to be removed from the bed prior and brought to reception.

House and Groups Policy

Bunk Surfers Paradise accommodates genuine youth international backpackers only, over the age of 18 and under 35. Bunk does not accept schoolies bookings, sporting trip stays and bucks party bookings. For any group bookings, a cash bond is payable per room on arrival and is held for any instances of excess cleaning, damage or misconduct. A credit card must be provided at time of booking to confirm and secure your reservation with the balance owing, paid a week prior to arrival (large groups) or on arrival (for smaller groups). We have a 7 day cancellation policy for groups and bookings cancelled within 7 days will be charged the equivalent of one nights accommodation. Over the annual Schoolies weeks minimum age is 21.

Payment Options

Bookings and extensions must be paid in advance. Prices listed include GST. Payments can be made by credit card (Visa and Mastercard). Please note a 1% credit card fee applies for Visa and Mastercard payments. Amex payments incur a 1.8% credit card fee. Prices quoted are in AUD and all payments must be made in AUD.

For all private room bookings an extra night’s payment will be taken at the time of check in as a security deposit and refunded after the room is cleaned.

Cancellations

There will be no penalty if cancellations are received more than 48 hours prior to arrival. Should a cancellation be received within 48 hours of arrival date (calculated from midnight), or should a reservation not be taken up (a no-show), then a one night’s room rate charge will be applied. In the case of group bookings: There will be no penalty if cancellations are received more than 7 days prior to arrival. Should a cancellation be received within 7 days of arrival date (calculated from midnight), or should a reservation not be taken up (a no-show), then a one night’s room rate charge will be applied. Peak period stays are to be paid in full and non-refundable.

Refund Policy

Bunk Surfers Paradise maintains a no refund policy, we can however transfer the unused night/s to another date. An unused night is based on a 10am check out.

Peak Periods

Specials are not applicable during Peak Periods including;

GC600, GC Marathon weekend, schoolies, long weekends, Christmas / New Year School holidays, Major local events.

Identification

On check-in, all guests must present a valid passport. Bunk also reserves the right to request at any time during guests stay that this identification be shown to confirm:

• That person is a registered guest.
• That person has a right of entry to any particular part of the property.
• That person is eligible to purchase alcohol.

Entry Policy

Bunk Surfers Paradise is a haven for genuine Travellers and does not cater for long term guests. Management refuses the right to refuse entry at any time.

For the safety of our guests, Bunk Surfers Paradise has a strict No Visitors policy.  This applies to any guest area throughout the property.
